Kat's Bio
Kat Farrow grew up chasing stories through sagebrush and sandstone in the Four Corners region of the western U.S. Now, an award-winning multi-genre author, she writes tales that whisk readers into fantastical worlds, captivating mysteries, and heartwarming adventures for readers young and old.
Bobbin and the Magic Thief, her debut children’s novel, received critical praise and a fan following in 2023. Her dark fantasy short story collection, Dark Threads: A Gathering of Dark Fantasy Tales, Vol.1., released in 2025, and has garnered several awards.
Her short fiction appears in multiple anthologies such as Parliament of Wizards, the award-winning Noncorporeal, The Librarian Reshelved, and Requiem: Tales of the Undead.
When she’s not writing, Kat can be found in the garden (fighting weeds), curled up with a book, watching K-dramas or anime, and being commandeered by her feline overlords–usually while doing everything else.
